The 8th International Conference on Quantum Computation, Measurement, and Computing will honor Prof. Bill Wootters with the 2006 International Quantum Communications Award. Wootters will travel to the conference in Tsukuba, Japan, to present his talk titled “Discrete Phase Space and Minimum-Uncertainty States” and to receive the award.
