Robert F. Engle has won the 2003 Nobel Prize in Economics for discovering statistical methods for “analyzing economic time series with time-varying volatility.”
Dr. Engle graduated from Williams College in 1964 with highest honors in physics and presently is a Professor of Finance at New York University.
